A leading magazine covering diplomacy and business, both in print & online
Started & Experience: THE BLUE MOON, a leading monthly magazine on Diplomacy and Business Opportunities , came into existence in 2008 with its online version, www.thebluemoon2008.com. The story of THE BLUE MOON began with the tourism and hospitality industry but widened its horizons to foreign diplomats, international trade and bilateral ties shortly after that. In 2009 the online magazine came in print too. It made its mark with its quality production and written content.
Content: To be the first of its kind, THE BLUE MOON launched a page called ‘Diplomatic Circle’ carrying an interview of an Ambassador every month. Gradually THE BLUE MOON made its place among the diplomatic & Internatonal community in New Delhi. ‘Diplomatic Circle’ became popular among foreign missions. International news and views started to flow in. The Blue Moon carries majorly bilateral relations, trade and Investment from other countries to India and vis versa. Followed by the Ambassador interview, their ministers’ discussion, report and analysis, and a special edition on each country occasionally.
First Mile Stone: By 2010, THE BLUE MOON had made itself known among the diplomatic community when it organized the first ever CONFLUENCE -1, which brought ambassadors/diplomats on one stage to perform what they wished – this was a confluence of cultures of the world. The event has since been going on every year. The slogan remains never changing – Bringing the World Together.
Appreciation: THE BLUE MOON can boast of its recognition when it was introduced by a European Ambassador to his Foreign Minister as “an important publication read by the diplomatic community.” More such commendations and good wishes came in for the sixth-anniversary issue in 2014 when many Ambassadors sent in their messages which were published. Among the well-wishers were Ambassadors of Germany, the European Union, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Malta, Indonesia, Kuwait, Slovenia, Turkey, Mexico, Ecuador, Tunisia and Peru.
Circulation: THE BLUE MOON is sent to over 150 foreign diplomatic missions in New Delhi, International & National Govt. offices & Chambers Pan India. Many Embassies consider the publication essential and invite it for exclusive interviews with visiting Ministers and other dignitaries.
Apart from diplomatic missions, The Blue Moon is widely circulated among national and International Chambers of Commerce, central and state ministries
It is always a proud moment for THE BLUE MOON team when an Ambassador recalls what he read in the pages of the previous issue, what he liked and did not.
